Ocala in Marion County has been dubbed Floirda's Horse Country. The vast acreage of rolling hills and large farms homes has attracted many to this central location. Probably the most famous area here is Silver Springs and Silver Springs Shores. The planned community of Marion Oaks on the southern end along with Silver Springs is attracting new home builders and buyers as Florida residents are moving inland for quieter suburbs away from the shores.
